[snarfed] I started setting up bridgy fed today. One thing I wished I could do was set a featured image without having to load the URL on my home page.

thanks for the concern about Bridgy Fed re Ghost, all! we have a good relationship with them, I'm not too concerned about them "crediting" us, etc, but I appreciate the support

[snarfed], this is minor, but ran into an odd link offset with Bridgy Publish to Bsky, maybe due to multiple links in the original and that it's shortened: https://bsky.app/profile/gregorlove.com/post/3lvlz7fqiki2e

[manton.org] Ghost 6.0 has been released, adding ActivityPub. Big update. It’s interesting how Ghost now talks about Bluesky compatibility, which works via Bridgy Fed, but they don’t mention Bridgy Fed. This feels slightly wrong to me since I’ve spent so much time working on AT... (https://www.manton.org/2025/08/04/ghost-has-been-released-adding.html)

Could the implication of the non-mention be that they _are designing-in_ the idea of a analogous stack to provide the same functionality as Bridgy Fed?

They have a special checkbox in Ghost that essentially enables Bridgy Fed, from what I can remember during the beta. But it feels very weird to list Bluesky as natively supported when I assume there’s no AT Protocol code in Ghost.
