  • Eh, they're working pretty well in the majority of cases, just hard for implementers to wrap their mind around. Something simpler might be nice, but I don't know if it's worth a rather big spec rewrite.

  • csarven, I am still not sure if my microformats property for pronouns is at its best yet. But it is really hard to codify language. I think I did the right thing by taking a step back and not try to “fix” it for all systems ever. Though I would be interested to see if anyone has been doing something like it in activitypub.

  • often the implicit expectation here is, if you're sophisticated enough to be authoring microformats yourself, you want to try hard to consider your own site canonical in general, not a silo

  • I simply can't find an open source video search engine with schema or microformats support and thumbnails. I'm having a hard time believing none exist. Does anyone have suggestions?
