At the article level, it works best when part of a series, like this tutorial in the Astro docs: https://docs.astro.build/en/tutorial/0-introduction/

I came across a new CMS for static site generators. I haven't used it yet but it looks promising. It only works with Cloudflare pages at the moment. Branding wise seems to imply it works with Github so it's kind of confusing! https://pagescms.org

I just did two of these for my site and I'm currently working on a blogpost about them. They both use svg and it works well on the browsers and devices I've tested. https://benji.dog/about and https://benji.dog/articles/my-favorite-mugs/

A Discord I'm in has a channel #voice-text-chat for when people are hanging out in the voice channel for an event. It works pretty well for dropping links, gif reactions, side-chat, and allows non-verbal people to participate.

re: the linkedin import, that's in beta, but pretty magic when it works 🪄 the other big barrier for a lot of folks spinning up an indie internet presence is not so much the technical stuff, but rather it's writing about themselves. the AI stuff doesn't feel quite human yet, but pulling picture/headline/summary from linkedin is a good starting point. if anyone wants to play with it, it's https://getrealnice.com/10secondsite and the pw: is sofast
