My static site generator reads widths and heights from each image as well, so when it’s producing picture+srcset+img groups it embeds the width and height in them. It works a treat.

shows how it works using "HTTP Shortcuts" app. lets you configure HTTP requests and expose that as a share target. templates bits let you pull details out of the shared post/page.

hm seeing more weird behavior with monocle. sometimes it just, stops showing anything? if i log out and sign back in it works though...

LFS is good for very large files but it's generally overkill for images. lots of community members here are storing their sites in GH repos, including lots of images at even a few MB each, and it works fine, no LFS or other special hacks
