↩️ Fully agree with this point. There is so much prior art about decentralization being ignored. But most of the fediverse/indieweb folks I see have not engaged with decentralization fans to say "we've got stuff that's better/cheaper/already works".

↩️ Fully agree, not many front developers are helping. Nothing like rich content surrounded by well crafted and syntax based HTML structures that can stand alone providing effortless accessibility while microformats can empower the experience and CSS can bring visual form to it all.

↩️ I agree that it's a scale thing. We turned it off for http://indieweb.org for example, as we have http://chat.indieweb.org for discussion (we also have ways to do simple edits from the chat)
