Ok, so, I posted a test from my other Mastodon account on the same server, and #indieweb-stream picked it up. Meanwhile the earlier post syndicated from my website still isn't there.

Looks like the last post in #indieweb-stream landed there 2 minutes after being posted on Mastodon... it's been over 20 minutes and my test post still hasn't appeared. Hmmmhph. :-\

If it's an inconsistency between mf2py and phpmf2 then perhaps a reduced test case or two would be helpful. Both for the right behavior and avoiding the wrong behavior (too permissive / error prone parsing)
