a test suite is a solid sign of it being "real", but the IETF doesn't publish test suites so you have to look elsewhere

aaronpk, I find it more accurate to see if there's a test suite for an RFC or not as an indicator of whether it was taken seriously by anyone

Ok so it’s a homebrew test and not at all fair, since so much of stylesheets are repetitive by design, but it does capture the Groundhog’s Day feeling of frontend work.

Actually now that I test the latter assumption, implementations don't do that, either. There's no consistency at all in the face of failure of date parsing. Most do completely nonsensical things.
