Hi ramenos ! There are web hosting communities around, which makes things a lot easier. If you’re looking for something more personal (owning your own domain, self-hosting, etc.), I don’t think it is impossible, but you will have to scratch your head a lot before putting a webpage online

Sure. Glad to inadvertently contribute a proof-of-concept. It's been working well for me. I prefer to rely on as few 3rd party services as possible, but, flickr seems pretty reliable

kupietz thanks for demonstrating Flickr as CDN for photo embeds is doable 🙏 it was a topic of discussion at IWC Berlin and I stated my intention to go in that direction because it made sense to me as the right set of trade-offs
