↩️ Microformats now (microformats2) are very flexible about expressing different params - they can be parsed into JSON by rule following without semantics. Clearly you still need to agree useful shared ones. Each microformat has a page on http://microformats.org and issues on github

↩️ Maybe. Though I do agree with you that crowdsourcing information is likely more effort than its worth. The closest thing you *might* consider would be using any microformatting tags the author has purposely added to their site: http://microformats.org/wiki/h-entry#Core_Properties

@brianleroux @doriantaylor We agree! We don't actually care that much about servers or infra. We focus on 1) own your own domain, so that you control where your site lives and how people get to it, and 2) make sure your data is accessible and exportable, so that you control it and can migrate if necessary.
