Bluesky gets a syndication link since I have a dedicated bsky account (not via Bridgy Fed), whereas Mastodon is fully on Bridgy Fed, so no syndication link.

I semi-automate my (CMS land, not static) by adding the bridgy link temporarily as a syndication link, then a button shows up on the post only for me to send a webmention. Click Send, check it cross posted, then remove/replace that syndication link on my post.

everyone here gets to decide for themselves whether their site doesn't show any responses/comments/webmentions, or only wms, or only native comments, or everything but silos (via Bridgy), or also silos, or some manually curated subset of those, or anything else!

if you're a broadcaster, yes, lots of solutions. if you want to stay in touch with friends, Bridgy is kinda it.
