  • anyone ([snarfed]?) know if Mastodon fixed their update bug where an updated post with new (changed?) hashtags wouldn't show up in the feeds of those hashtags (as if Mastodon was failing to re-index updated posts for new hashtags) ? If not, I may try an update test to see if it works now

  • I wondered how reliable <h1>[0] would be. Turns out, not very. On my first test, I got the site name, and not the page/article title. So for now I'll skip the second part, and do `p-name` || head > title.

  • [KevinMarks]++ Thank you for the post on PRs. Boy, did that hit some triggers for me. I’m not against PRs, but reviews help and I’ve long leaned into lower tech debt is what increases good velocity. I’m also a fan of test driven design (TDD). I after the first third I skimmed and parked this for a deeper read later. It also hit on some things I’ve been running into doing engineering and product head mentoring around AI in the flow a

  • sadly i don't think i'll have a quick fix for this today, unless i suddenly remember something new! i'll have to set up a test site or two and turn on debugging to work through what it's doing. 😅

  • aaronpk: Do you still plan finishing indieauth.rocks or should I read the spec very carefully and test my server with existing clients?

  • ok, I added "IndieWeb Example: {{t}} repaired a link in https://tantek.com/2010/031/t2/world-moving-to-html5 to use an Internet Archive version, noting in a parenthetical that the original link and its shortlink were found to 404 as of a more recent date, thus also implying the date of repair. The original post test including old shortlink is still viewable at the Twitter syndicated copy." to the "See Also" section of /link_repair https://indieweb.org/wiki/index.php?diff=111048&oldid=111046
