jak2k, keeping post types out of micropub makes micropub a simpler more minimal spec. that's by design. for folks that want to distinguish post types, the PTD spec provides that functionality, and then you can store the output of that in your database as necessary for your use-case(s)

hmm, curious why PTD is necessary for expanding the UIs of Micropub clients. like I think that's a mistake. it would be better to tie UI to properties directly as necessary
