I don't see anything in my bridgy fed notifications so I assume they are silently ignored

I just sent myself a private message from a mastodon account. We'll see what bridgy does

you can pull the at:// URI out of the bridgy URL directly though, no need for an HTTP request

[snarfed] I’m experimenting with pulling Bluesky mentions into http://Micro.blog. It’s interesting to make it play nicely with Bridgy too. I’m now hitting the permalink for Bridgy in some cases to resolve a http://brid.gy/comment/bluesky/did:plc/… URL into an at:// URL (looking for p-uid). Don’t expect this will create any problems, just FYI.

So, either we write in a full response or ask [snarfed] to have Bridgy include one. The WordPress plugin doing it is probably better

Since a like from Bridgy has no title, content, etc, it is drawing that from the title tag of the page.

We know about Bridgy Response. If you use the Facepile option, it doesn't appear. We need to rewrite what Bridgy gives us to present a textual version.

Interesting! I don’t have any experience using Bridgy, so I can’t help with that unfortunately. [snarfed] can probably pick up on what’s going on right away.

well. I have all the indieweb plugins on my WordPress blog. It sort of works. But when somebody likes my post on Bluesky, the blog shows just "bridgy response"

yup just retried mention.tech with the most recent three posts on my home page and it was unable to send a webmention to Bridgy Fed. unclear if the problem is with mention.tech or Bridgy Fed
